Kosrae offers a wide range of fascinating activities, from hiking the lush jungle trails to arrive at lovely waterfalls to touring WWII sites like Japanese bunkers and caves. There are several important anthropological sites on Kosrae, such as the Lelu ruins and the Menke ruins, where you can see ancient settlements from the time of Kosrae chiefs, many hundreds of years ago. Take a mangrove tour in a traditional outrigger canoe through the Utwe-Walung Marine Park, where the sinuous mangrove channels make their way through towering, twisted trees.
